Today was all about the reading. Alex's mom came in to read first off (Mrs. Fiona's Stupendous Pumpkin Pie and If I Made a Car). Thttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifhen we had a guest reader who was set up via the Burroughs Read-a-thon. his name is Dan Israel, and he is alocal musician. I told him that I would give his website a free plug, so here it is:

He also left us a copy of his latest CD, which was very nice. Then we headed to gym, where the kids had a SUPER fun day - ropes, scooters, cargo nets and tetherball. Be sure to ask your child who was the one to climb all the way up to the ceiling on the cargo net at the very end of gym class!!
After gym, we had our regular Wednesday visit from Ms. Barb - she brought two wonderfl books: An Impossible Kind of Patriotism and Just as Good as Anyone Else.
After all of that, it was time for us to pack up and head out.
Tomorrow is the 100th day of school, too - be ready for some good stories about 100th day activities!!
